Android 10 Go version roll-out has begun

Android 10 Go, a new version of the Android Go operating system has been released. Android Go, a unique operating system designed for low end and budget smartphone, It is an operating system is designed specifically for smartphones with 1 gigabyte RAM and limited processing Capabilities.  

Google has since began the roll out of the new Android 10 Go OS which is set to make it debut on the new itel S15 and some other new phones. It would also come with Android Go applications like Youtube Go,  Maps Go, Gallery Go and the new Google file app. It also comes with a peer-to-peer sharing support, an enhanced data saving feature and they are still working with developers to add more selection of the Go apps to the Android Go OS. This latest version of the Android Go OS focuses more on improved data encrption for customers with Google;s Adiantum encrption system.


According to them,"With smaller app sizes, more storage space, and way more control over how your content is stored, it’s easy to see the ways Android 10 (Go edition) helps you save”.

Features of Android 10 Go Operating System

1. It includes lightweight versions of official Google apps found on the standard version of Android 10, and it also occupies lesser space on the smartphone internal storage than the full version of the Android 10 OS

2. It also includes Google Play Store, Search, Chrome, Google Assistant, Gmail, Maps, and a well Optimized YouTube.

3. It also features an improved File Manager app and a variety of new apps such as Gallery Go, Google Go, and Gboard on Android 10 Go

4. It also comes with a built-in data manager to help reduce the user's mobile data usage and support for Google’s Find My Device security feature.
Google Android 10 Go edition will be making it debuts on Itel S15 and some other device such Xiaomi Redmi Go, Itel S15, Nokia 1. Tecno Spark 2, Samsung A2,Safaricom Neon Storm, Mobicel, and others later this year.
